Yes, I mic everything. 24 or 25 channels.
damn. Doesn't it take the longest it seems to mic the drums? My ex never had to be and in fact the guys in the bands would complain if they did mic him. He is a power drummer. I have to say there's no life like band life. I miss it and just jammin', ya know!!
I couldn't really get away with not micing them.
